Disappointingly for the second time we have had to “call off” our tour because of the COVID-19 restrictions in place in Western Australia announced on 20 January 2022. We will be looking at another suitable time hopefully some time later this year.

Read MoreThe Sydney Male Choir is delighted to announce the appointment of Asja Suljic as our new accompanist. Asja grew up in Sydney but at age 16 moved to Eastern Europe (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina), where she completed high school and university. She completed a BA and MA in Piano Performance at the Music Academy of Sarajevo, University of Sarajevo.
She has worked as a piano teacher and accompanist in Sarajevo, performed as a chamber musician with the Trio Logos, and frequently collaborated with contemporary composers from the Western Balkans and UK.
Asja performed as a soloist and as part of an ensemble at workshops and music festivals in Sarajevo and Cardiff.
In 2020 she completed a post graduate Diploma in Collaborative Piano at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Some notable recitals during her time in Cardiff included John Psathas’ Cloudfolk, performing with soprano Molly Beere at the BBC Cardiff ‘Singer of the World’ Masterclass Series, repetiteur for Bizet’s Carmen with the Cardiff University Operatic Society and numerous vocal recitals and masterclasses with well known collaborative pianists.
In addition to her assignment as Accompanist for the Sydney Male Choir and Asja is a piano and singing teacher at Circle Music.
